General characteristics of the agriculture of the district.
The main types of agricultural products are milk, cattle meat, grain, and vegetables. As of January 1, 2026, 7 agricultural organizations (JSC "Gvoznitsa", JSC "Krasny Partizan", SOUP "Savushkino", JSC "Mokran", SOUP "Khotislavsky", JSC "Chernyany", SEC "Doropeevichi") and 37 peasant (farming) farms are engaged in its production.
The area of agricultural land is 47.6 thousand hectares, arable – 26.7 thousand hectares. The soil fertility score of agricultural lands is 25.0, arable – 23.9.
By the end of 2025, 114.4 thousand tons of milk were produced. Meat (products of cultivation) received 7.3 thousand tons. As of January 1, 2026, the number of cattle amounted to 36.7 thousand heads, including 12.96 thousand cows. The average milk yield per cow was 8,525 kg. The average daily weight gain of cattle during rearing and fattening amounted to 795 grams.
The gross grain harvest, taking into account corn grains in weight after refinement in 2025, amounted to 54.0 thousand tons, with a yield of 35.5 quintals per hectare. The gross rapeseed harvest in weight after refinement amounted to 3.4 thousand tons. The yield was 16.7 quintals per hectare.
Modernization of the agro-industrial complex, investments in the agricultural sector of the region's economy.
The agricultural organizations of the district operate 63 energy-saturated tractors (with an engine capacity of 250 hp or more), 48 grain harvesters and 27 forage harvesters, and other specialized equipment.
The volume of investments in fixed assets of the agricultural sector in 2025 amounted to 58.1 million rubles.

In the regional competition among the districts of the Brest region in 2025, the Maloritskiy district was recognized as the winner for achieving high performance:
- harvesting of grass forages with the award of the first place prize,
- in the production of seeds of perennial grasses with the award of the third prize.
